Kim Mulder, CFO
Kim began her career in real estate many years ago where she was a broker on the lakeshore. As her work became more well known and trusted in the community, she also took on a management position of a title company in the area. Looking for a change, Kim turned to her next adventure and began as the Finance Manager for SERVPRO, a company who specializes in clean up and restoration services.
Kim joined the RSVP team in March of 2011 as Chief Financial Officer, and now balances the books for two great companies! Not only is Kim an integral member of the team, she functions as head of staff and keeps all of the “creative ones” in check. An MSU fan to her core, Kim has always lived in West Michigan.
What has been your greatest work accomplishment?
In 2011 I began acting as the financial contact for two, very different companies. While I had been working for SERVPRO for quite some time, adding RSVP definitely created the need for a balancing act!
What do you see as your expertise within the event industry?
Taking direction from the people who know events…I truly am the finance person.
What is your favorite part of being in the event industry?
Watching the things our staff has talked about come to life.
What expression do you use most often?
“Serious? No… seriously?”
What is your favorite food?
I love tacos.
What is your favorite thing to do when you are not at work?
Spend time with my adorable puppy, Stella, and root for the Spartans.
What is your greatest vice?
Wanting a cocktail at 5 o’clock.
